Obstetrician Gynecologists are doctors who have
special training in the care of women.
Typically an OBGyn undergoes four years of premedical education, then four more years of medical school education, then four more years of Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Some OBGyns, also do another two years to get special certification for high risk pregnancies, pelvic surgery, gyn cancer, or infertility.
